Training

Workers in the support industry need to have strong communication abilities and a genuine interest in helping other people. In addition to this, they need to have a genuine interest in providing treatment for patients who suffer from mental illnesses that may impair their typical functioning. Patience, emotional stability, dependability, discretion, a willingness to function well with others, and the capacity to accomplish repeated daily chores are some of the other essential abilities. Because having knowledge of the diagnosis and how to help individuals becomes so important, receiving proper training in the practises of managing symptoms is essential to one's day-to-day employment. At PsychSync, our primary areas of focus are providing psychoeducation and training for support staff.

Supervision

“The only valid purpose for education in the modern world is change and reliance on process and not on static knowledge” Rogers C, Freiberg. The student and the supervisor both need to actively participate in the clinical practise in order for the training to be considered comprehensive. Currently, educational processes are confronted with the constant changes that occur as a result of the introduction of new technologies. These changes influence both the manner in which knowledge is imparted to students as well as the manner in which students absorb the information that is imparted to them. The method of receiving guidance and instruction, as well as the strategy for obtaining knowledge, presupposes, among other things, an innate commitment and individual attributes on the part of the apprentice. Being absolutely necessary for the acquisition and upkeep of knowledge.
